Refunds & Cancellation
How to cancel, when you can get your money back, and how long it takes to reach you. Written for the person who needs an answer today, not for a lawyer.
The short version
01Try it before you pay anything
Every new Zynqly account starts on a 14-day free trial of the Starter plan, and we do not ask for a card to begin it. You can connect Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger and Telegram, build automations and send real messages before any money changes hands.
We mention this first because it is the honest answer to most refund requests: the trial exists so that nobody has to buy the product to find out whether it works for them.
If the trial ends and you do nothing, your account moves to the free plan. Nothing is charged automatically at the end of a trial.
02The refund window
If you subscribe to a paid plan and it is not right for you, write to us within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. No form, no reason required.
This applies to the first payment on a subscription — the one where you are still deciding. It covers monthly and annual plans alike.
- Annual plans. A full refund within the first 7 days. After that, you keep the plan until the end of the year you paid for; we do not refund the unused part of an annual term.
- Monthly plans. A full refund within the first 7 days. After that, cancel and the next month is simply not charged.
- Upgrades. If you upgrade mid-term and the new plan is wrong for you, the same 7 days apply to the difference you paid.
Beyond the window we will still read your message. If something on our side went wrong — a failed migration, a service outage, a charge you did not authorise — say so and we will make it right, whatever the date says.
03Cancelling is not the same as a refund
These get confused, so plainly: cancelling stops the next charge. It does not return the last one.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing in your dashboard. It takes effect immediately in the sense that no further payment is taken — and you keep full access to every paid feature until the end of the billing period you have already paid for. We do not cut your automations off the moment you cancel.
When that period ends, the account moves to the free plan. Your data stays where it is: your conversations, contacts, knowledge bases and automation history are not deleted when a subscription ends. Automations above the free plan's limits simply stop running until you subscribe again.
If you want the account and its data removed entirely, that is a separate request — see the data deletion page, or write to us.
04What we cannot refund
Some of what you spend on Zynqly is not ours to give back, because it has already been paid to somebody else the moment it was used:
- WhatsApp conversation charges. Meta bills these per conversation, directly to your own WhatsApp Business account. They are not part of your Zynqly subscription and we never receive that money, so we cannot refund it. Meta's pricing applies.
- AI credits already consumed. Tokens spent generating replies, summaries or transcriptions are paid to the model provider as they are used. Unused credits in your current period are covered by a subscription refund; spent ones are not.
- Knowledge-base ingestion already processed. Pages we have crawled, embedded and stored have been paid for on your behalf.
- Third-party services you connect yourself, such as a Google Workspace or a paid API you plug in.
We also do not refund accounts terminated for breaching the Terms of Service — for example, sending messages that violate a platform's own rules and get your channel banned.
05How to request a refund
Write to support@zynqly.com from the email address on the account. Include:
- the payment reference — you will find it under Settings → Billing → Payment history, and it is on the receipt we emailed you;
- the date and amount of the charge;
- a line about what went wrong, if anything did. It is genuinely useful and it is never required.
We acknowledge every request within 2 business days and tell you the decision in the same reply wherever we can. If we need something from you, we will ask once and clearly.
You can also call +91 80815 55129 during Indian business hours, though email leaves both of us a record.
06When the money actually arrives
Once a refund is approved we issue it to Razorpay the same working day. From there:
- Cards — typically 5–7 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
- UPI and net banking — usually 3–5 business days.
- International cards — up to 10 business days, and your bank may apply its own conversion when the money returns.
Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency you were charged. We cannot send a refund to a different card or account — that restriction is your bank's and Razorpay's, not ours.
Zynqly prices are shown and charged in INR, USD, EUR or GBP depending on where you are, and a subscription stays in the currency of its first payment. A refund uses that same currency, so exchange-rate movement between the charge and the refund is not something either of us controls.
07If you disagree with our decision
Reply to the same thread and say so — a person reads it, not a queue. If we still cannot agree, you have every right to raise it with your card issuer or bank.
We would ask that you talk to us first. A chargeback opened before we have had a chance to look is slower for you than an email is, and it freezes the account while it runs.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other Indian law that applies to you.
Zynqly is operated by AYDEX Technologies (Sole Proprietorship), Barra, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh — 208027, India. That is the name that appears on your card statement. Payments are processed by Razorpay, which is licensed by the Reserve Bank of India — we never see or store your card details.
