Teach it, then let it answer
Knowledge is what the assistant may draw on, Agent is how it behaves, Activity is every answer it gave — so you can see what it said before you trust it with more.
What it is for
It answers the questions you answer every day, from your own content, and hands over the moment it is unsure — so nobody gets a confident wrong answer with your name on it. Setup takes about ten minutes.
What an answer costs
Each reply uses credits, and bigger models use more per reply. The panel shows what you have used this month and what each kind of answer costs — so the balance never drops by an amount you cannot explain.
Where you are
The steps to go live, each with a reason. Connect content, set the persona, rehearse a few questions, then switch it on. It stays after go-live, collapsed, in case something needs revisiting.
Ideas you'll meet
The same explanations the ⓘ marks give in the app.
- the knowledge base
- Everything the assistant is allowed to draw on when it answers. Without one it replies from its persona alone, which is fine for tone and guesswork for facts. Read the guide →
- the confidence floor
- How sure the assistant has to be before it answers at all. Below the floor it hands the conversation to you instead of guessing — raise it when wrong answers cost more than slow ones. Read the guide →
- handoff
- The point where the assistant stops and a person takes over — a hot lead, an upset customer, a keyword you chose, or an answer it isn't sure enough about. Read the guide →
- the turn limit
- How many times the assistant may reply in one conversation before handing it over. It is the backstop for a loop that is going nowhere. Zero means no limit. Read the guide →
- AI credits
- What an answer costs to generate. Bigger models cost more per reply, so the same credit balance goes further on a smaller one — the AI page shows what you have used. Read the guide →

Common questions
What does the confidence floor do?
It is the level of certainty below which the assistant does not answer and hands the conversation to you instead. Zero leaves the knowledge base's own threshold in charge. Raise it when a wrong answer costs more than a slow one.
What happens when the AI hands off a conversation?
The conversation arrives in your inbox in full, a holding message goes to the customer so they are not waiting in silence, and the assistant stops replying in that thread. Handoff happens on low confidence, an upset customer, a hot lead, or a keyword you chose.
Can the assistant reply outside WhatsApp's 24-hour window?
No. The window applies to every message from your number, automated or not. Outside it only an approved template will send, so a handoff there waits for the customer to write again or is answered with a template.
Does the assistant need a knowledge base?
Not to run, but without one it answers from its persona alone — good for tone and guesswork for facts. A knowledge base built from your own FAQ, policies and pages is what makes its answers checkable and its mistakes fixable at the source.
Which channel should I connect first?
The one your customers already use. Each channel has one requirement that stops people at the door — a Professional account linked to a Page for Instagram, a Page role for Messenger, a Business Platform number for WhatsApp, a BotFather token for Telegram — and clearing one is faster than clearing four.
Why is my inbox empty after connecting?
Because nothing has replied to anyone yet. Build one automation from a template, trigger it yourself from another account, and the inbox, the leads list and the analytics all start to fill from that first reply.
I dismissed the setup checklist — how do I get it back?
From the help menu at the top of every page: Show setup checklist brings it back, and Restart the product tour runs the walkthrough again. Both work on a phone as well as a laptop.
Where do I reconnect a channel whose token expired?
On that channel's own settings page — the bottom half of the settings list is one page per connected channel, and the connection, its health and the reconnect button all live there.
